About The Position

As a Lead Data Analyst for Operations Analytics with a dedicated focus on Quality, you will play a critical role in supporting our Quality organization and ensuring compliance within Board of Pharmacy and FDA-regulated pharmacy operations. This role is focused on building trusted data solutions that improve quality monitoring, compliance visibility, and process efficiency across Hims & Hers’ operations. You will work closely with stakeholders in Quality, Dispense & Fulfillment, Operations Assurance, Compounding, Supply Chain, and Operations Finance to design, implement, and maintain data pipelines, dashboards, and reporting solutions. Your expertise will enable the Quality team to identify trends, proactively address risks, and drive continuous improvement in compliance and patient safety. This fully remote role reports directly to the Senior Manager of Operations Analytics, fostering a collaborative environment that prioritizes growth, rigor, and innovation.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in data analysis, operations analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience working with Quality functions in a pharmacy or FDA-regulated environment.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and data manipulation for analysis and reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with modern analytics tools and technologies, including Looker, Google BigQuery, Databricks, and dbt.
  • Strong understanding of data visualization best practices and regulatory reporting needs.
  • Ability to logically connect data, system logic, and regulatory requirements to business processes.
  • Solid understanding of statistical analysis methodologies and their application to quality and operational datasets.
  • Proven ability to work with complex datasets, including quality/compliance data, and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical analysis and regulatory/quality needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Pharmacy, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with healthcare data (e.g., HIPAA, PHI) or quality/compliance data in regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with FDA regulations, cGMP, or pharmacy quality assurance processes.
  • Experience with Python or R for advanced analysis and automation.
  • Knowledge of operations and quality metrics, such as deviations, complaints, CAPAs, audits, and fulfillment quality KPIs.
  • A portfolio of past work showcasing dashboards, analyses, or data solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the dedicated analytics partner for the Quality team, ensuring alignment with FDA and pharmacy compliance requirements.
  • Own the accuracy, completeness, and compliance readiness of operational quality data.
  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor Quality performance metrics (e.g., notification to management (NtM), deviations, CAPAs, audits, complaints, pharmacy compliance KPIs).
  • Collaborate with Quality and Operations stakeholders to define data needs and translate them into scalable data solutions.
  • Perform in-depth analysis of quality events and operational data to uncover patterns, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Perform statistical analysis to support root cause investigations, monitor process stability, and assess effectiveness of quality improvements.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines and workflows in collaboration with Data Engineering, ensuring data accuracy, timeliness, and scalability.
  • Contribute to automation of reporting and monitoring to improve efficiency and regulatory readiness.
  • Act as a liaison between the Quality organization, Data Engineering, and other operational functions, ensuring consistent data use and governance.
  • Support other functional areas within the operations organization as needed.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
