The Lead Cycle Count and Distribution Analyst at Brunswick Corporation plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of inventory management and distribution processes. This position involves analyzing transactional data, leading cycle counts, and collaborating with operations leadership to drive improvements in inventory accuracy, reduce costs, and enhance order fulfillment. The analyst will serve as a subject matter expert, focusing on compliance with cycle count procedures and continuous improvement initiatives within the distribution team.

  • Lead cycle count activities for stock and work-in-progress (WIP) items.
  • Assign routine cycle counts in collaboration with the operations leadership team.
  • Investigate high variances in cycle count tasks throughout the day.
  • Compile and distribute rechecks for cycle counts.
  • Maintain accuracy scores for cycle counters based on rechecks.
  • Administer cycle count function proficiency tests as needed.
  • Lead activities related to the Annual Super Cycle and Physical Inventory counts.
  • Maintain and control transaction-based screens and accounts related to cycle counts.
  • Manage negative inventory and reports on SORCPTs.
  • Review inventory in manufacturing locations and ensure proper recording of scrap/components.
  • Prepare monthly summaries of inventory findings with recommendations for leadership and finance.
  • Collaborate with operations leaders to optimize home locations and slotting for efficient picking.
  • Maintain data for fines, returns, and quality/accuracy misses, identifying root causes and corrective measures.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, Accounting, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Distribution, Production, or Inventory Management roles.
  • Superior knowledge of ERP systems (COPICs) and Warehouse Management Systems (RT Systems, Dematic, Ames McBain).
  • Demonstrated skills in creating problem statements and conducting root cause analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • CPIM certification
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
