About The Position

1. Performs all job duties/essential job functions for position of Customer Service Representative. 2. Demonstrates skill in selling products and services to each prospective customer inquiring about the Center, and can quantify and teach these skills. 3. Responsible for cash management including accepting cash, check and credit payments for center services and for end-of-day cash drawer balance. 4. Supervises sales activities, assists customers and communicates information to CSRs as directed by the Manager. 5. Responds to customer complaints in a professional, courteous manner and acts to satisfactorily resolve the problem, at the direction of the Manager. 6. Trains Customer Service Representatives, including but not limited to Associate Certification Training, at the direction of Management. 7. Assists Management with Administrative Duties, including but not limited to financial reports, computer reports, balancing cash drawer. 8. Acts as key holder, opening and closing center as directed. 9. Responsible for maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the lobby and front desk areas. 10. Completes all required training and attends training sessions as needed/assigned. 11. Responds to computer reservation system questions or problems and reports them to Manager or contacts IT support. 12. Manages retail inventory if assigned. 13. Performs other duties as assigned. QualificationsEducation: - High School Graduate or Equivalent Experience: Proven track record as a Best Friends Customer Service Representative. Customer Service Associate Certification Personal: Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills. Must have excellent telephone skills. Ability to think clearly and quickly to resolve problems. Must possess a love of animals. Displays a professional manner at all times. Physical: Must be able to work evenings weekends and holidays. Must be able to frequently lift 40 pounds. Must be able to be on feet eight hours per day and be able to stand, walk, and climb stairs frequently. Must be able to utilize multi-line telephone and be able to work on computer system. Must be able to handle dogs on leashes. Must be able to work in an environment with exposure to disinfectant/sanitation chemicals, animal dander and excretions.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or Equivalent
  • Proven track record as a Best Friends Customer Service Representative.
  • Customer Service Associate Certification
