Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent (GED).
  • Proficient in computer skills (email, spreadsheets, etc.).
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
  • Accounting/Bookkeeping skills.
  • Ability to interpret/analyze financials.
  • Ability to develop/manage budgets.
  • Ability to delegate/direct/implement.
  • Knowledge of suggestive selling and products.
  • Detail oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Provide and maintain a high standard of customer service in the store's front-end operations.
  • Supervise and direct all front-end activities in absence of the Customer Service Manager.
  • Ensure that the work shifts at the front end contribute to the financial best interests of the store.
  • Accurately perform all transactions including cash, checks, debit/credit/EBT cards, and others.
  • Ensure that return-to-stock items are handled promptly, especially perishable items.
  • Train others to perform all department activities and functions.
  • Manage the selection, scheduling, and supervision of others to meet or exceed departmental productivity levels.
  • Handle spoiled/damaged products per established guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean, attractive and well stocked department.
  • Follow all PPE and Safety Guidelines.
  • Follow all Food Safety and Cleaning Expectations.
  • Follow Guest Experience Guidelines.
  • May be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer experience need.
