About The Position

The Lead Custodian at Goodwin University is responsible for supervising custodial services across the university campus and school buildings. This role involves overseeing routine cleaning and maintenance operations while also performing various cleaning tasks. The Lead Custodian ensures that all custodial staff adhere to safety practices and provides guidance and direction to maintain a clean and safe environment for students and staff.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of relevant experience in custodial services and maintenance or six months on-the-job experience.
• CT Driver's license and insured vehicle.
• Supervising experience in custodial settings.

Responsibilities

• Supervise custodial services for the University Campus and School Buildings.
• Perform routine custodial services and general maintenance tasks.
• Manage loading dock operations and order supplies.
• Replenish supply closets and deliver office supplies to various locations.
• Provide event set-ups as needed.
• Ensure safe handling of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Conduct work in a safe manner and follow all safety practices.
