About The Position

Kadiak, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Lead Custodian to support Kadiak and our government customer in in Butte, MT. Leadership: Supervise, coordinate, and assign tasks to custodial staff. Provide guidance and training to team members. Assist in hiring and onboarding new team members. Cleaning Management: Oversee routine cleaning (vacuuming, dusting, trash removal, etc.) Manage specialized cleaning projects. Inspect work to ensure quality standards. Develop cleaning schedules and procedures. Inventory Management: Order and maintain cleaning supplies/equipment. Communication: Act as point of contact between staff and management. Liaise between custodial staff and other departments. Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal facility cleaning protocols and regulations. Specialized Tasks: Handle complex cleaning tasks. Assist with setup/cleanup for special events. Maintenance: Report maintenance issues or safety hazards. Performance: Lead team in cleaning load balance for compliant results. Additional notes: Reports to CE. Responsible for various areas, including offices, restrooms, common areas, and exterior grounds. Ensures a safe and healthy environment.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizen
  • High School Diploma or GED (Prefer high school diploma)
  • Capable of performing heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, and washing walls
  • Experience in managing custodial care projects and able to lift 50 lbs
  • Demonstrate clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be dependable, hardworking, conscientious, cooperative, and able to work independently
  • Custodial, carpet, and floor care experience
  • Mandatory-Advanced Custodial Technical Certification from the Cleaning Management Institute (CMI)
