Job Summary: The Lead CT Technologist leads the associates working in their department. They will utilize scanning equipment to produce diagnostic CT scans and provide treatment of patients. Essential Functions: Demonstrates leadership behavior to maintain proper staffing levels and assigns call. Maintains accreditation and regulatory compliance of CT department. Confirms the quality and accuracy of all pertinent patient and procedural data. Properly position and immobilize patients on CT scanning cradles Makes radiation exposures by energizing scanner per request and patient history. Performs intravenous injections and demonstrates a knowledge of IVs, administers oral, rectal, and IV radiographic contracts agents. Assists the radiologist with biopsies and drainage procedures. Requirements

  • BLS Basic Life Support – American Heart Association (preferred upon hire, must obtain from approved source prior to direct patient care) (required)
  • Certification and Registration with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) (required)
  • 1 year of experience as a CT or Rad Tech (required)

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's from an ARRT accredited institute (preferred)
  • Advanced modality registration in CT, ARRT (preferred, or must obtain within 1 year)
  • State Licensure (preferred, unless required by the state where the job is being performed)
  • EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) (preferred)
  • Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS) (preferred)
