About The Position
Performs CT procedures following the protocols established by the referring physicians or Radiologists. Operates CT scanner to produce cross sectional anatomical images of consistent optimal quality. Operates CT equipment in a safe and appropriate manner, following established safety guidelines. Assists in orienting and teaching of technical staff. Directs work of the technologists in the absence of supervisory personal, or as instructed by supervisor.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
- Non Degree Program Graduate from a two-year AMA approved radiologic technology program Required
- 2 years experience as a CT Scan Technologist Required
- Reg Technologist (R) Required
Nice To Haves
- General Experience in supervising others Preferred
- Basic Life Support Preferred
- Reg Technologist (R) (CT) Preferred
