About The Position

Baptist Health is seeking a Full-Time Lead CT Technologist to join our CT Scan Department at our Baptist Downtown Location. This is a full-time position with a shift of Monday - Thursday, 10:00am - 8:30pm. As a CT Technologist at Baptist, you will work closely with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging and patient safety as this aligns with our mission to make hope, healing, and well-being accessible to every person as an expression of God's love. Our CT Technologists are dedicated to delivering high quality imaging services, ensure both the comfort and safety of patients, and will thrive in a collaborative environment. Additional responsbilities of our CT technologists include operating and calibrating of GE equipment, preparing patients for their procedures which include administering IV contrast & patient positioning, providing clear explanations & education about the process, and ensuring the compliance with all regulatory standards. Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 3-5 Years Experience working in a hospital setting
  • 1-2 years Radiology Experience
  • Customer Service Experience
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR) Required
  • Registered Technologist in Computer Tomography ARRT (CT) Required
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT Required
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Required
  • Licensed Radiologic Technologist Required

Responsibilities

  • Performing high quality (CT) procedures in accordance to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams.
  • Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
  • Collaborate with radiologists to provide optimal imaging results.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standards.
  • Educate patients on the CT process and answer any patient questions.
