Primary Responsibilities: Upon the order of a qualified physician, the Lead CT Technologist will utilize equipment, which produces ionizing radiation to obtain computed tomographic (CT) images for diagnostic purposes according to policies, procedures, and protocols of the KSC Radiology Department and Kelsey-Seybold Clinic. The Lead CT Technologist will utilize the designated Radiology Information System (RIS) to complete clerical processes and the designated Patient Archiving System (PACS) as well as contrast injectors. Functions as a team leader, with appropriate attention to team development and success of department. May be assigned to other duties, technical or non-technical if training, experience, and credentials are deemed adequate by supervisor to perform those duties You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED from an accredited program. Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology
  • 5-years of CT Technologist experience or 3-years’ KSC Radiology Technologist experience
  • ARRT(R)(CT)
  • MRT-General Certificate
  • BCLS certification
  • Demonstrated ability to use computer keyboard and grasp advanced elements of computed tomography
  • Proven excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Associates in Applied Science-Radiology Technology
  • PACS and RIS experience
  • Experience on a multi-slice scanner
  • Experience performing CT Angiography and 3D post processing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and/or Excel. Venipuncture IV administration exp
  • Bi-lingual or multi-lingual

Responsibilities
