About The Position

This opportunity is full-time at 40 hours per week, offers full benefits and a convenient evening shift schedule. Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 3p-1130 with on call shifts. Requirements

  • Current State of Florida license.
  • Current ARRT registry in CAT Scan.
  • AHA Healthcare provider BLS.
  • Proficiency in computer skills.
  • English verbal and written fluency.

Responsibilities

  • Assume responsibility and accountability for the CAT Scan department.
  • Serve as a unit lead technologist by assisting other CAT Scan technologists.
  • Ensure quality and resolve situations as they arise.
  • Manage ACR re-accreditations.
  • Facilitate workflows by creating employee schedules.
  • Time keeping in Kronos.
  • Order supplies and conduct staff training.
  • Conduct Joint Commission tracers and manage radiation badges.
  • Ensure PACS and imaging quality assurance.
  • Attend CDOS quarterly meetings.
  • Report any issues with radiology equipment to Imaging Manager.
  • Manage employee competencies (initial and annual) and certifications and renewals.
  • Conduct yearly evaluations.
  • Provide radiographic imaging to patients of all age groups.
  • Utilize equipment and technique to assist in diagnosis or treatment.
  • Apply appropriate patient care and recognize patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
  • Be available for 'on-call' duties.
  • Cross-train and float into other areas as needed.
  • Assist in the cross-training and orientation of others into the department.
  • Maintain currency in stroke knowledge by completing the annual 1 hour online training.
