About the position

The Lead CSR/Teller position is designed to provide excellent customer service in all interactions, ensuring that customers are referred to the appropriate business partner for consultative conversations. This role is responsible for the most complex duties of a Customer Service Representative (CSR), exercising considerable independent judgment and accountability for risk management. The position emphasizes the importance of ethical behavior and maintaining a positive customer experience while adhering to the Bank's risk appetite.

Responsibilities

  • Deepen relationships with customers by listening to their specific needs and guiding them to meet their financial needs.
  • Provide follow-up to customer questions and find solutions to address issues.
  • Maintain open and clear communication with customers.
  • Keep all customer business confidential.
  • Follow the Bancorp Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
  • Collaborate with the Financial Center Manager to complete monthly cash counts.
  • Assist in gathering and reporting monthly FCA requests.
  • Perform daily office responsibilities to maintain efficient operation.
  • Maintain a balancing record in line with policy and assist others as needed.
  • Stay updated on bank policies and financial center procedures.
  • Assist in training newly hired Customer Service Representatives.
  • Identify customer needs during interactions and refer them to Bankers and business partners.
  • Build and maintain knowledge of Retail products and services.
  • Utilize tools for tracking referrals sent to personal bankers and business partners.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Extensive cash handling experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of retail policies and procedures.
  • Ability to interact comfortably and confidently with the public.
  • Demonstrated initiative and sound judgment in decision-making.
  • Flexibility in scheduling.
