About The Position

As a Lead CSR/Teller at Fifth Third Bank, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of banking transactions. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers with their daily banking needs, addressing inquiries, and resolving any issues that may arise. You will be expected to exercise independent judgment while performing complex duties typical of a Customer Service Representative (CSR). This position requires a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of customer care, adhering to bank policies, and fostering a positive customer experience. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting good customer relations by consistently delivering premier customer satisfaction. You will develop a rapport with customers, greet them by name, and demonstrate a caring attitude. Your ability to answer customer questions confidently and find solutions to their issues will be essential. You will also be tasked with maintaining confidentiality and following the Bancorp Code of Business Conduct and Ethics at all times. Additionally, you will perform various banking operations and transactions, including cash withdrawals, check signing approvals, and managing night deposits. You will maintain a balancing record in line with bank policy and demonstrate sound judgment in decision-making. As a Lead CSR, you will also have the opportunity to train and develop new CSRs, monitor CSR operations, and assist management in ensuring that all team members are up-to-date with procedures and policies. Your role will also involve meeting or exceeding sales referrals and effectively cross-selling bank products and services to meet personal and bank goals.
