About The Position

WWT is seeking a Lead CSfC Engineer that will spearhead a team of CSfC (Commercial Solutions for Classified) implementation engineers, driving the implementation, deployment, and maintenance of secure communication systems that leverage commercial technologies to protect classified information in compliance with NSA standards. This role requires a blend of technical (network, systems, security) expertise, leadership skills, and strategic oversight to ensure mission-critical projects are delivered efficiently and securely.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred) and/or 7-10 years related experience.
  • At least 7-10 years of experience in cybersecurity or network engineering required; minimum of 3 years focused on CSfC implementations.
  • Proven leadership experience managing technical teams, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management.
  • In-depth knowledge of NSA CSfC Capability Packages, including expertise in areas like Mobile Access, Campus WLAN, Data-at-Rest, and Multi-Site Connectivity.
  • Strong technical proficiency in encryption technologies (e.g., IPsec, TLS), virtual private networks (VPNs), firewalls, and mobile device management (MDM) solutions.
  • Experience with commercial security products from vendors like Cisco, Palo Alto, or Juniper, and familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, FIPS 140-2).
  • Experience with commercial mobility and wireless products like Cisco and Aruba.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex systems and implement secure, scalable solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance (e.g., Secret or Top Secret).

  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCNP/CCIE Security, or PCNSE preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of CSfC implementation engineers for the USMC enterprise gray, providing technical guidance, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities to foster a high-performing team.
  • Oversee the implementation of CSfC solutions, including installation, configuration, integration, and testing to meet classified network requirements.
  • Ensure all CSfC deployments comply with NSA CSfC Capability Packages, policies, and guidelines, conducting regular audits and risk assessments to maintain security integrity.
  • Facilitate design reviews of components (hardware and software) to ensure applicability to the current system and traceability of requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including cybersecurity analysts, network architects, and stakeholders, to align CSfC initiatives with organizational objectives and resolve complex technical challenges.
  • Ensure technical accuracy of documentation of system configurations, procedures, and changes; maintain accurate records for audits and future reference.
  • Convert the solution design drawings into as-built drawings and maintain throughout the solution implementation process.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve advanced issues in CSfC environments, such as encryption protocols, VPN configurations, and multi-layer security implementations.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies, threats, and updates to CSfC standards, recommending improvements and leading innovation efforts within the team.
  • Provide feedback to design engineers and evaluate end-to-end systems and systems-oriented products through their entire life cycle.
  • Conduct training sessions and knowledge-sharing activities to enhance team capabilities in CSfC best practices and tools.
  • Assist with vendor relationships and evaluation of commercial products for CSfC compatibility, ensuring seamless integration into classified systems.
