About The Position

The Lead Cryogenic Technician at Quantinuum is responsible for the production of cryogens and the operation of a liquefaction plant. This role requires coordination with technical and R&D teams to ensure the efficient filling and delivery of cryogens, as well as performing basic operations on turbomachinery. The technician will also maintain a clean work environment and comply with safety protocols, with a possibility of weekend shifts or alternative flexible scheduling.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in a production environment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge/aptitude preferred.
• Good attitude and willingness to learn on the job.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities at once.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Organizational skills to document daily logs and project progress.

Nice To Haves

• Maintenance/repair experience preferred.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Work independently and follow operating procedures.
• Produce cryogens and operate the liquefaction plant.
• Coordinate with technical and R&D teams to fill and deliver cryogens.
• Perform basic operations on turbomachinery including compressors, expansion engines, pumps, and vacuum systems.
• Complete general production duties including maintenance and production logs, tracking spreadsheets, and data entry.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including routine cleaning of work areas.
• Comply with established safety protocols and procedures.
• Work weekend shifts as required.
