About The Position

Under the supervision of the Count Room Supervisor, the incumbent, either personally or through subordinates, is responsible for the collection, sorting, counting and recording of gaming results and the overall operation and maintenance of the Count Room and currency counting equipment. The Lead Count Room Attendant provides excellent customer service to all employees and vendors in all situations. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Indiana Grand Casino policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards, and Indiana Gaming Regulations. Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of experience supervising in a money room or count room, or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
• Experience with computerized casino/hospitality software systems and currency counting equipment preferred.
• Ability to handle non-standard situations requiring judgment.
• Proficient in operating computer and software programs.
• Effective interaction with other departments and regulatory agencies.
• Ability to supervise subordinates effectively.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain an Indiana Gaming License.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Availability to work various shifts, weekends, or holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with 10-key adding machine.

Responsibilities
