Summer@Country School offers a safe, self-contained environment perfect for participants to freely explore and enjoy their favorite activities with friends old and new. We offer a range of traditional and new activities that make each summer unique, including art, STEM and athletics, 85 acres of outdoor and woodland adventure, and weekly specials. Through hands-on experiences and a combination of guided and independent experiences, campers are encouraged to try new things, explore, accept challenges, and most of all have fun. We are looking for enthusiastic, dedicated lead counselors who love summer programs and love kids. Each program group will have a lead and assistant counselor. Lead counselors' responsibilities include designing and leading group activities, ensuring the safety of participants, and creating a fun and inclusive community. Lead counselors work closely with and mentor assistant counselors to ensure a positive experience for all. In addition, lead counselors collaborate with the program director to create opportunities for our counselors-in-training. Lead counselors play an important role in building an enriching summer experience for our participants. This program runs 9 am - 4 pm Monday through Friday from June 15 to August 21. 2026. The projected number of hours per week is 40. Orientation and training are mandatory and will be provided prior to the first day of camp.
