About The Position
Tigg's Canteen Services is looking to hire a Permanent Full-Time Lead Cook for Grand Traverse County Jail in Traverse City MI. We offer a competitive wage and benefit package including: Pay starting at $21.00 an hour for this location.
Requirements
- Ability to work well in a structured correctional environment.
- Ability to read and follow company recipes.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts - days and hours (between 9:00am - 6:00pm)
- Clearance approval into the facility
Nice To Haves
- Previous food service or kitchen experience would be a plus, but we can train the right person!
