About The Position
Looking for a Leadership position in Food Service? Do you have integrity, a positive can-do attitude, a strong character and able to work in a structured environment ? Tigg's Canteen Services is looking to hire a Full-Time Permanent Lead Cook for Ottawa County Jail in West Olive MI. We offer a competitive wage and benefit package including: Pay starting at $22.00 an hour for this location. Medical Dental Vision 401K Paid Time Off Qualifications include: Ability to work well in a structured correctional environment. Ability to read and follow company recipes. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to lead, instruct, and assist with meal preparations including food preparation, baking, cooking, and clean-up. Requirements include: High school diploma or equivalent Flexibility to work every other weekend and holiday . Flexibility to work varying shifts - days and hours (10am-6pm) Clearance approval into the facility Previous food service or kitchen experience would be a plus, but we can train the right person!
