About The Position

Immanuel Communities is seeking a Full-time Lead Cook to work at Trinity Village, located at 522 West Lincoln Street, Papillion, NE 68046. Trinity Village has 40 independent living and 30 assisted living apartment homes. Must be available to work 10:00am to 6:00pm any day of the week -- including weekends and holidays -- for a total of approximately 40 hours/week. This is not an entry level position, so must have at least two years of cooking experience at a level above fast food/fast casual in order to be considered. This position will pay up to $21.00/hour. Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education. The Lead Cook is to ensure that high-quality food is prepared, apportioned, and presented in an appealing manner to residents. Additional responsibilities of this job include all types of food preparation, including yet not limited to baking, grilling, stove-top and oven cooking; and cleaning the kitchen. The incumbent may be assigned to oversee progress of cooks’ abilities, kitchen projects, or certain aspects of food preparation in the kitchen. Requirements

  • Two (2) years of cooking experience at a level above fast food/fast casual is required.
  • BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) or willing to obtain certification if hired is required.
  • Must be at least 19 years old.
