You’re a seasoned culinary professional with strong leadership skills and a commitment to high standards. With at least 2 years of experience supervising line cooks and running day-to-day kitchen operations, you take pride in producing safe, high-quality meals and supporting catered events. You're confident in your food safety knowledge, calm under pressure, and ready to lead by example in a fast-paced environment. A Day in the Life: Supervise daily kitchen operations and provide hands-on leadership to the cook team Ensure food is prepared, cooked, and served safely and according to recipe and presentation standards Assist with inventory management, prep tracking, and daily production schedules Train, support, and mentor line and prep cooks to maintain consistency and quality Uphold proper food hygiene, sanitation, and temperature control procedures Support event catering and special functions with professionalism and efficiency Act as the kitchen lead in the absence of the Executive Chef or Kitchen Supervisor At Larksfield Place, every role plays a part in delivering premier service and building a strong community. Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a professional kitchen setting
• Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and temperature control
• Ability to lead and motivate others in a high-volume production environment
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Food Handler’s Card required

Nice To Haves

• ServeSafe Certification preferred
• Experience in senior living or healthcare food service a plus

Responsibilities
