About The Position

Sodexo Live! is proud to announce the launch of our brand dedicated to the sports, events, and hospitality industry. We concentrate all of our skills, insight, and experience into one brand that instinctively knows how to make the most of every moment. The San Diego Convention Center is located on sparkling San Diego Bay in the heart of a vibrant downtown, offering abundant, flexible space and five-star service. We are currently seeking a Lead Cook at the San Diego Convention Center.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in food preparation in a fast paced environment.
  • Must be able to interact verbally and listen attentively to co-workers and supervisors.
  • Ability to follow written and oral direction.
  • Ability to work under pressure and independently.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and coordinate orders to ensure they are cooked in a timely, accurate, consistent and quality manner.
  • Comply with all established health, sanitation and safety procedures.
  • Ensure all products are prepared, held and served at correct temperatures.
  • Utilize proper recipes, equipment, tools and utensils.
  • Adhere to company standards for food quality, taste, flavor and presentation.

Benefits

  • Pay: $24.30 per hour plus gratuity
