About The Position

PeopleLift is seeking a Lead Control Systems Engineer with deep expertise in Emerson DeltaV to join our world-class automation team. Our client is a global leader in control systems integration, known for delivering innovative, vendor-independent solutions to the Life Sciences, Chemicals, and Data Center industries. In this role, you aren’t just a programmer; you are a consultant, a mentor, and a technical visionary. You will lead multi-disciplined teams through the full project lifecycle—from initial concept and functional design to onsite commissioning.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in Process Automation or Systems Integration.
Proven experience with DeltaV configuration (Control Modules, Graphics, Batch, Security, and Hardware).
Solid understanding of the Life Sciences (GMP/Validated environments), Specialty Chemicals, or similar process industries.
Experience leading project teams and managing technical deliverables.
B.S. in Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly.

Nice To Haves

Experience with DeltaV PK controllers or DeltaV Live is a plus.

Responsibilities

Technical Leadership: Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for DeltaV systems, overseeing complex architecture design, configuration, and implementation.
Project Execution: Lead large-scale automation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Client Consultancy: Act as the primary technical point of contact for high-profile clients, translating business needs into robust technical requirements.
Mentorship: Guide and develop junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
Innovation: Develop and implement advanced control strategies, including Batch (S88) and Continuous control, within the DeltaV environment.
