The Military Contracts Lead will play a critical role in ensuring the Repair Administration team operates efficiently and effectively to support overall organizational goals. This position requires a blend of strong leadership and motivational skills, coupled with an ability to provide clear guidance and support to team members.

  • Act as a working lead for direct and indirect U.S. government, prime contract and international customers Repair Order Administration - oversee and ensure timely and accurate processing of military repair orders
  • Serve as escalation point to address and resolve customer problems, concerns and holds
  • Standardize processes and implement best practices improving Military Repair Administration processes
  • Strengthen team performance through coaching and development
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for DCMA
  • Ensure site DCMA compliance from customer administration perspective, partnering with site Government Property as needed
  • Manage site contract flow-down process to ensure execution of orders per the terms of the contract
  • Support audits and contract closeouts
  • Represent site at proposal meetings, partnering with GM and VSMs as needed
  • Drive to action military accounts receivable dispute resolution
  • Contribute to company initiatives including continuous improvement, standard work, and business financial goals
  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
  • Working experience in contracts, customer account management, or warranty administration, ideally in an aerospace or defense environment.
  • Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Government contract execution experience
  • Knowledge and experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARs)
  • ERP system experience (SAP preferred).
  • Experience with military/government systems including CAV, WAWF (PIEE), and TAMS.
