About the position
The Lead Content Strategist at GE Aerospace is responsible for designing and delivering comprehensive talent recruitment activities, which include research, sourcing, interviewing, and managing operational tasks. This role emphasizes the execution of standard activities and providing advice within established policies, with some flexibility to adapt to changing situations. The position also focuses on maintaining content and asset libraries, managing employment branding, and collaborating with various teams to enhance content strategy.
Responsibilities
- Maintains content and asset library
- Owns employment branding content calendar
- Acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in social media best practices and trends
- Conducts social media/digital media reporting
- Handles media placement and execution
- Collaborates with Communications on content planning, repurposing, and amplification
- Partners with the Employer Brand team and others to develop and refine content for social media
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university OR High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of branding or marketing experience
- At least 3 years of content creation experience

- Extensive knowledge of social platforms like Facebook, Threads, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Understanding of strategic marketing communications
- Experience with brand-centric creative requirements
- A passion for writing
- Project management skills
- Social media marketing experience

- Flexibility to react to messaging changes
- Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives
