About The Position

The Lead Consultant Full Stack Java Developer at Genpact will collaborate with various teams to develop and enhance eCommerce software solutions. This role involves planning, developing, testing, and deploying software while driving process improvements to enhance delivery speed. The position requires a blend of technical expertise in Java and Spring Boot, along with leadership capabilities to mentor junior engineers and manage feature tracks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in BE/B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA
• Experience in IT
• Proficiency in front-end development (JavaScript, CSS/SASS, HTML)
• Understanding of frameworks like Microservices and API gateways
• Experience in end-to-end application development
• Ability to triage issues and multitask
• Familiarity with JIRA and Agile methodologies
• Working knowledge of CI/CD principles
• Strong knowledge of Git, JIRA, and Confluence
• Experience in eCommerce development is a plus
• Experience with Azure is a plus
• Understanding of frameworks like AEM, Hybris, Microservices, and API gateways for React & Node.js implementations

Nice To Haves

• Experience with cloud deployment
• Familiarity with agile methodologies
• Experience in implementing eCommerce solutions

Responsibilities

• Implement REST services with Java & Spring Boot
• Utilize Test-Driven Development (TDD) in both frontend and backend technologies
• Communicate effectively in written and verbal forms
• Engage in agile methodologies and pair programming
• Maintain and interact with databases such as Oracle and PostGres
• Lead a feature track
• Use software release management tools like Pivotal Tracker, JIRA, and Rally
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers
• Utilize CI/CD tools like Jenkins
• Deploy applications to cloud platforms such as Kubernetes, PCF, GCP, Azure, and AWS
