About The Position
We are seeking a skilled individual with expertise in various surveying technologies and software tools to join our team as a Lead Construction Site Survey Technician / Land Surveyor. This full-time position is based in South Carolina and offers a competitive starting pay of $30 per hour. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in land surveying and will be responsible for conducting land surveys, construction site layouts, and as-built/record drawing surveys for civil and utility construction projects. The role will require the use of traditional survey methods as well as advanced technologies such as GIS and GPS to ensure accurate and efficient data collection and analysis. In this position, you will utilize software tools like AutoCAD and Civil 3D for drafting and mapping purposes. You will be expected to collect, analyze, and manage survey data effectively, assisting in the preparation of survey reports, drawings, and documentation. Collaboration with team members is essential to ensure accurate survey results, and you will apply your knowledge of ArcGIS, GIS, geometry, and data collection techniques throughout various survey projects. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a Land Surveyor to contribute to diverse civil projects while utilizing their expertise in the field.
