About The Position

This role is crucial in ensuring that all auditing processes are not only efficient, but also aligned with the regulatory standards set forth by federal and state bodies. As part of the Audit and Corrections team, the Compliance Manager will oversee audit engagements and corrective actions while driving a culture of compliance throughout the organization. The successful candidate will collaborate with various stakeholders, guiding them in understanding their compliance responsibilities, ensuring that risk management is an integral part of operations, and that the company maintains its legal and ethical standing. This remote role also includes supervisory responsibilities for a dedicated team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in compliance or regulatory affairs.
  • 3-5 years’ experience with Medicare, Medicaid, or Commercial health plan regulations.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to travel as necessary (up to 25%).

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee a team on execution of all aspects of regulatory and client audits.
  • Interface with external clients and regulatory bodies to address inquiries.
  • Coordinate across teams to document and ensure timely completion of corrective actions.
  • Prepare and assist with monthly metrics reporting.
  • Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback.
  • Proactively identify and resolve compliance issues in partnership with business stakeholders.
  • Research and communicate applicable regulatory requirements.
