Responsibilities

  • Provide project management skills to plan activities, communicate with stakeholders, and ensure timelines are met.
  • Maintain subject matter expertise related to assigned commodities.
  • Assist Team Manager with staff training, process documentation, and policy interpretation.
  • Ensure stakeholders are informed of project progress and issues through regular communication.
  • Represent the university on internal/external teams and training activities.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication to all project stakeholders.
  • Organize complex project activities and establish appropriate timelines.
  • Assist in research and problem resolution during projects.
  • Maintain knowledge of procurement processes, internal procedures, and sourcing methodologies.
  • Make strategic decisions regarding projects and contract sourcing.
  • Facilitate procurements and contract negotiations per applicable rules and regulations.
  • Advocate for vendors certified by VDSBSD.
