About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Commercial Mortgage Loan Administration Specialist to support our Real Estate Securitization and Capital Markets (RESCM) team. In this role, you will partner with our deal team, borrower team, outside counsel, and third-party vendors to obtain documents necessary for closing, and review loan documents to ensure they incorporate the deal terms. You will coordinate with our internal flood team to satisfy applicable laws and internal procedures related to the Flood Disaster Protection Act (FDPA), work with our insurance vendor and outside counsel to complete the insurance review and approval, and work with our zoning vendor and outside counsel to complete zoning review and approval. Additionally, you will facilitate closing processes including drafting settlement statements, reviewing title company statements, coordinating with title, and managing and completing the closing workbook in MS Excel. You will collaborate with asset managers, counsel, and flood to document and book loan extensions, modifications, and future fundings. This role requires making decisions in complex and multi-faceted situations requiring a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that influence and lead broader work teams to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives. You will strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level to senior managers to resolve issues and achieve goals, may lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor, and accurately evaluate and upload data into the systems of record to ensure compliance with all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Finally, you will collaborate and consult with RESCM peers, colleagues, and managers accountable for providing quality customer service to internal or external customers and achieving line of business goals.
