About The Position

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Commercial Banking Portfolio Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • This position does not support Visa Sponsorship
  • Ability to work a hybrid work schedule
  • Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired.   • Experience in Healthcare, Higher Education and Nonprofit Lending sectors
  • Ability to quickly evaluate direct and operating exposure situations on short deadlines driven by the RFP process
  • Advanced credit structuring and portfolio analysis skills, with ability to evaluate complex and unique lending situations
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross‑functional initiatives involving Credit, Risk, Relationship Management, and Operations
  • Strong understanding of commercial credit policy, regulatory considerations, and risk rating methodologies
  • Proven ability to mentor and guide peers or junior portfolio managers in underwriting quality, portfolio monitoring, and credit decisioning
  • Strong communication skills, with ability to present complex credit findings and recommendations to leaders and credit partners
