About The Position
ISO New England is the not-for-profit, independent system operator responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable flow of electricity in our region and planning for the future of the electric grid. We are at the forefront of New England's ongoing transition to clean energy. ISO New England is seeking an experienced Lead Cloud Infrastructure Engineer that will be responsible for all aspects of system administration, architectural design and ongoing maintenance of large Red Hat Linux and Kubernetes cluster deployments residing on public and private cloud and physical systems. In this role, you will work with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers dedicated the reliable operation of the ISO New England's markets infrastructure services. Your expertise will be needed to create, configure, manage and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters. Your contributions will ensure the organization accelerates its adoption of cloud technologies by identify potential migration opportunities. On a daily basis, you will be responsible for the defense of our IT systems by maintaining secure configurations, evaluating vulnerabilities, and ensuring the environment is up-to-date.
