About The Position

The Lead Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer serves as a lead technical authority responsible for the design, security, reliability, and evolution of TruStone’s cloud, hybrid, and on-premises infrastructure. This role ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems in alignment with the credit union’s mission, core values, and regulatory obligations.

Requirements

  • Availability to work 40 hours per week Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:30 – 5:30 with nights and weekends as needed at our Kenosha, WI, Burnsville, MN or Plymouth, MN office location; exempt.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other IT-related degree, or equivalent work experience, especially if combined with certifications, such as the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE).
  • 7+ years relevant work experience.
  • Previous supervisory experience or proven leadership ability.
  • Strong experience with Azure.
  • VMware / vSphere / ESXi experience.
  • Windows Server, Windows 11, Linux/Unix platforms.
  • Active Directory / Entra ID, Microsoft Exchange Online, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Intune.
  • Hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure design and support.
  • Scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, batch).
  • LAN/WAN fundamentals and infrastructure troubleshooting.
  • Backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
  • Knowledge of IT service management best practices.
  • Strong analytical and root cause problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn and support emerging technologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High degree of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and all its provisions.
  • Ability to pass all pre-employment drug tests and various background checks.
  • Responsible for regular and reliable attendance at the workplace.
