About The Position

The Lead Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer serves as a lead technical authority responsible for the design, security, reliability, and evolution of TruStone’s cloud, hybrid, and on-premises infrastructure. This role ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems in alignment with the credit union’s mission, core values, and regulatory obligations.

Requirements

Availability to work 40 hours per week Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:30 – 5:30 with nights and weekends as needed at our Kenosha, WI, Burnsville, MN or Plymouth, MN office location; exempt.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other IT-related degree, or equivalent work experience, especially if combined with certifications, such as the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE).
7+ years relevant work experience.
Previous supervisory experience or proven leadership ability.
Strong experience with Azure.
VMware / vSphere / ESXi experience.
Windows Server, Windows 11, Linux/Unix platforms.
Active Directory / Entra ID, Microsoft Exchange Online, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Intune.
Hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure design and support.
Scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, batch).
LAN/WAN fundamentals and infrastructure troubleshooting.
Backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
Knowledge of IT service management best practices.
Strong analytical and root cause problem-solving skills.
Ability to quickly learn and support emerging technologies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High degree of integrity and confidentiality.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and all its provisions.
Ability to pass all pre-employment drug tests and various background checks.
Responsible for regular and reliable attendance at the workplace.
