About The Position

The MITRE Corporation is seeking a Lead Clinical Quality Analyst to work in our CMS Alliance to Modernize Healthcare FFRDC. As the Lead Clinical Quality Analyst, you will provide analysis and strategic support regarding the development and use of clinical quality measures to the Department of Health and Human Services, and other Federal Civilian Agencies as needed. This position requires knowledge of existing clinical quality measures, an understanding of how measures are developed, and familiarity with clinical quality measure specifications. You will be responsible to write descriptions of measures, including their uses and limitations, suitable for a non-technical audience. In the Lead Clinical Quality Analyst role, you will interface with high-ranking members of federal healthcare agencies, think creatively and be prepared to contribute to innovative clinical quality measures (CQM) programs, and guide approaches to solutions based on a clinical understanding of the issues. This position may require 10% travel to the Woodlawn (Baltimore), MD office. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Nursing, or related field
  • 7 years relevant experience with healthcare quality measures and clinical standards experience a plus
  • Willingness to travel to the Woodlawn (Baltimore), MD facility as needed to meet with customer

  • Nursing or healthcare quality measure credentials strongly preferred
