About The Position
The Lead Nurse position is responsible for guiding three or more employees and providing direction to Ancillary Departments, other Nurses, and Health Care providers. The role involves ensuring that the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision, and values are communicated to the team and integrated into their strategies, goals, objectives, work plans, and services. The Lead Nurse will articulate assignments, projects, and deadlines, assist with nursing schedules, and coach the team in problem-solving methods. Additionally, the Lead Nurse will monitor work progress, prepare reports, and represent the team in dealings with supervisors to obtain necessary resources.
