Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in medical technology or a chemical or biological science
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Chemistry.
  • CA CLS license or CA limited license in specific section
  • Detailed knowledge, skills, and training in specific section's theory and methods.
  • Skilled multi-tasker, clear communicator, and active listener who knows the right questions to ask in order to understand the teams' needs.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred Lead experience in the specific section

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations of assigned laboratory section(s), ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Perform and evaluate qualitative and quantitative laboratory tests, reviewing results for accuracy, reasonableness, and clinical significance.
  • Communicate critical values promptly, documenting actions and escalating questionable results to the Medical Director.
  • Review quality control data, address variances, and proactively manage instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Recommend and implement new procedures or instrumentation, overseeing correlation studies, linearity, and reference value validations.
  • Provide leadership, training, and support to laboratory staff, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
