Position Overview The Senior Clinical Consulting Engineer (LCCE) provides technical remote and/or onsite support for the installation and after sales support for FUJIFILM Modality products such as, Ultrasound (US) and Mammography Systems, DR and CR systems to distributors in Latin America using FUJIFILM Women’s Health Modality Solutions. The LCCE has mastered technical skills and possesses the expert product knowledge required to mentor Clinical Consultants in clinical product optimization and the on-site and remote education of Mammography Technologists in using HCUS Women’s Health Modality Solutions. The LCCE ensures customer satisfaction by adequately managing customer expectations and driving improved product awareness and understanding. The LCCE is the second level of local escalation for technical assessment, troubleshooting, image quality, and workflow optimization, and further escalation where needed to ensure that product integrity and performance levels meet customer expectations. Additionally, the SCCE supports all sales and field service efforts in high- level strategic accounts by providing clinical consultation for developing and executing customized customer solutions, special projects, and equipment demonstrations. Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of technical experience in related Diagnostic Imaging disciplines (i.e., Mammography, US, CR, DR, and General Radiology).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the installation, maintenance and support of medical imaging devices mainly in Ultrasound systems, Mammography systems, Digital X Ray systems, DR Detectors, Computer Radiography systems, Dicom printers and other medical imaging equipment.
  • Creative, consultative, communicator with the ability to build relationships to support the evolving needs of customers, employees, and the business.
  • Teaching Experience with Case Management reporting and tracking
  • Strong working knowledge of current network
  • Strong working knowledge of current IT technologies and common business productivity software, e.g., MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project, MS Power Point, MS Visio, etc.

  • Associate's degree in Biomedical Engineering or other related field with a minimum of 5 years technical or professional experience or comparable education and work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Independently assesses the distributor’s level of comprehension to facilitate effective on-site training and optimal product operation, utilizing validated applications, protocols, and
  • Provides clinical consultation and support to product development teams, product improvement teams, marketing, sales, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, external customers, and other functions or groups in the form of strategic clinical
  • Provides expert-level telephone and remote clinical and engineering support for customers, sales, and field service via our Technical Support Center.
  • Leads Technologists in properly and efficiently operating FUJIFILM MS
  • Optimizes image quality of Fujifilm imaging products, including, but not limited to, film-screen, Digital Diagnostic Imaging, hard copy printers, and soft copy displays by designing and executing the best image processing strategy based on physician preferences and departmental needs.
  • Interfaces directly with customers at the senior level, as well as staff positions to appropriately assess and effectively communicate the customer’s experience to HCUS. These customer interfaces can be via phone/email/conference calls led by the Lead Clinical Consultant or in person at a customer site visit. Traveling to customer sites with or without the appropriate team members is an integral part of the Lead Clinical Consultant role in demonstrating our commitment to the customer experience and quality of our products.
  • Solicits feedback from Customers at regular and consistent intervals and escalates, where appropriate, any concerns or additional sales opportunities to Sales, Field Service, Marketing, Engineering, and Product line management.
  • Follows up with customers regarding issues identified via written and verbal communication.
  • Support distributors on installation of mammography systems (MG), ultrasound systems, DR and CR systems, components, and accessories to ensure conformance with appropriate market specifications.
  • Provide technical training to distributors' engineers with technical training within the scope of an assigned product family, product or module which includes installation guidance for assign personnel.
  • Provides telephone support for customers, sales, and field service.
  • Provides ongoing support to resolve application-related and image quality concerns on both a product and system level.
  • Provides and maintain documentation to support customer visits and consultation.
  • Maintains technical expertise on all HCUS Women’s Health product offerings and knows current industry trends and future technology directions.
  • Develops and monitors progress reports regarding service and improvements.
  • Maintains effective communication with Field Service, Sales, and other members of the HCUS team to foster effective problem resolution.
  • Lead client site preparation (pre-insta11ation) for Mammography Systems (MG).
  • Constant documents preparation for Latin America Distributors in Spanish such as installation guides, site survey evaluation, etc., for different FF Modalities.
  • Maintains effective communications and working relationships with all departments within HCUS (Service, Engineering, Integration, Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, etc.).
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned by management.
