About The Position
The Collin County Tax Assessor's Office is seeking candidates for the position of Lead Clerk. The Lead Clerk supervises and coordinates the work of Tax Assessor personnel and ensures that the office runs smoothly. Participates in the interviewing, hiring, training, evaluating, correcting and termination processes related to personnel. Has responsibility for control and security of transactions, accountable materials, and cash. Ensures that the office standards are maintained including office policies, Texas Transportation Code, Texas Property Tax Code, Local Government Code and procedures of the Division of Motor Vehicles. Interacts with other departments, state and local government agencies and numerous taxpayers. Assists with line duties and provides administrative support and assistance in other areas when required. Work is performed under the direction of the Tax Assessor.
