About The Position
The Custodial Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the custodial staff, ensuring that all tasks are performed efficiently and in compliance with safety and quality standards. This role includes training new employees, monitoring work activities, and maintaining records related to training and inspections. The Custodial Lead will also perform quality, service, and safety inspections, track equipment and supplies inventory, and issue necessary equipment and supplies. Additionally, the position requires the lead to report any employee accidents or issues to the supervisor and provide recommendations for corrective actions. The Custodial Lead will be expected to fill in for absent employees and be on-call for weekend and late-night emergencies.
