About The Position

The Lead Event Cleaner plays a critical role in ensuring the stadium remains clean, safe, and welcoming before, during, and after events. This position oversees a team of event cleaners, coordinates cleaning tasks, and ensures that all areas of the stadium meet cleanliness standards. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and experienced in leading janitorial teams in high-traffic environments.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
2 years of janitorial or custodial experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Experience in stadiums, arenas, or large venues preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the work of event cleaning staff during stadium events.
Assign tasks and monitor progress to ensure timely and thorough cleaning of designated areas.
Conduct pre- and post-event inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
Respond promptly to urgent cleaning needs during events (e.g., spills, restroom maintenance).
Ensure proper use of cleaning supplies and equipment; report any issues or shortages.
Train new event cleaners on procedures, safety protocols, and stadium policies.
Communicate effectively with the Janitorial Supervisor and other departments.
Maintain logs of completed tasks, incidents, and supply usage.
Assist with setup and breakdown of cleaning stations and equipment.
Promote a safe and respectful working environment for all team members.
