Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) certification in North Dakota and Minnesota, or the ability to obtain it within six months.
  • Minimum of five years of relevant municipal engineering experience.
  • Proven project management skills.
  • Solid understanding of local municipal processes and infrastructure needs.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and client-relations skills.
  • Business development experience or a keen interest in client relationship management.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and the Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Knowledge of Fargo-Moorhead-area municipalities and regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, design, and management of high-quality municipal infrastructure projects.
  • Focus on urban and rural roadways, water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer utilities, as well as site development.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, clients, and community leaders to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.
  • Prepare technical reports, specifications, and engineering plans.
  • Participate in marketing efforts and identify new business opportunities.
  • Mentor junior staff and maintain a high-performance, collaborative work environment.
  • Represent the company professionally at various municipal meetings, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
