Burn Boot Camp is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childwatch Lead to oversee the care of children aged eight weeks to twelve years old. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our Childwatch facility provides a safe, engaging, and clean environment that aligns with our commitment to community-based fitness. The Childwatch Lead will be responsible for leading a team of Childwatch members, managing the daily operations of the Childwatch room, and enhancing the overall experience for both children and their parents. The ideal candidate will embody the Burn Boot Camp culture, which emphasizes inspiration, empowerment, and transformation through fitness and community engagement. In this role, the Childwatch Lead will greet children and parents with enthusiasm, ensuring that all children have completed necessary waivers and understand the room rules. The Lead will also be responsible for executing Childwatch processes effectively, maintaining the facility, and ensuring that all equipment and toys are in working order and clean. Daily responsibilities will include opening and closing duties such as cleaning toys, wiping surfaces, and vacuuming, as well as engaging with children during play or craft time to foster a fun and safe environment. The Childwatch Lead will play a crucial role in the leadership and management of the Childwatch team, which includes scheduling, interviewing, and training new team members. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement, ensuring that the Childwatch service is efficient and meets the needs of our community. The successful candidate will be patient, organized, and able to communicate effectively with both children and parents, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all.
