Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate from an accredited Certified Medical Assistant Program.
• BLS required within 30 days of hire.
• At least one year of supervisory experience in a clinical setting.
• Certification: Required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the supervision of work and performance of clinical medical assistants, including providing input towards performance reviews and corrective action plans if needed.
• Oversee and train new and existing staff along with the assistance of the RN Manager.
• Perform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, billing, and coding information for insurance purposes.
• Perform clinical duties such as rooming patients, taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination, drawing blood, and administering medications as directed by physician.
