About The Position

The Lead CentralReach (CR) Audit Associate plays a critical role in ensuring billing accuracy, documentation compliance, and operational excellence across our clinical services. This position is responsible for reviewing medical and billing records within CentralReach to ensure compliance with best practices and applicable regulations. In addition, this role will support the development of a new diagnosis program aimed at expanding access to autism care and will assist in creating and improving billing processes.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Minimum 6 months of hands-on experience with CentralReach ABA software (1 year preferred).
  • Experience with behavioral health or autism diagnosis billing preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective time management and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Comfortable working in a high-growth, results-oriented organization.

Responsibilities

  • Review and audit claims for accuracy; correct missing or incorrect data.
  • Review clinical documentation to ensure completeness and compliance.
  • Assist clinical teams with procedure and diagnosis coding guidance.
  • Update service codes based on diagnosis outcomes and payer requirements.
  • Input and manage self-pay fees and apply them to appropriate service codes.
  • Schedule services for diagnosing psychologists and providers.
  • Support and train CR Audit Associates.
  • Identify audit trends and escalate findings to leadership.
  • Assist with reporting and documentation related to audit outcomes.
  • Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and company standards.
  • Follow established escalation and offboarding procedures in CentralReach.
  • Perform additional clerical or support duties as assigned.
