About The Position

This role is within Chamberlain Group's Operations and Supply Chain function. A successful incumbent is expected to (i) Design, develop and implement an indirect category strategy to achieve functional and Business Unit objectives and (ii) Define sourcing strategies in the category based on Indirect Sourcing policy by developing and driving sourcing initiatives, including all key steps in full life cycle sourcing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years in Indirect Sourcing with an emphasis on assigned category / commodity
  • Experience with sourcing for indirect services
  • Experience with developing Sourcing strategies based on data analytics
  • Working Knowledge and Application of Value Stream Mapping, Total Cost of Ownership, Outsourcing/Off-Shoring, Supplier Diversity & Sustainability/Regulatory compliance
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to effectively communicate with C-Suite executives

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and implement an indirect category strategy to achieve functional and Business Unit objectives
  • Define sourcing strategies in the category based on Indirect Sourcing policy by developing and driving sourcing initiatives, including all key steps in full life cycle sourcing
  • Execute supplier management strategies by monitoring KPIs, Terms and Conditions, Supplier Contracts and Supplier Risk Assessments
  • Maintain knowledge of factors affecting costs such as industry and technology trends, geo-political influences, upstream and related market cost reduction opportunities
  • Advise the Business on indirect category strategy by leading cross-functional teams
  • Cultivate and manage supplier relationships to optimize business value
  • Develop and deliver category reporting to senior leadership
  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams
  • Protect Chamberlain Group's reputation by keeping information confidential
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed
