About The Position

The Lead Case Manager at Catholic Charities of Baltimore will supervise the Client Services team, providing essential support to immigrants in the Baltimore metropolitan area. This role involves overseeing case management service delivery, ensuring compliance with funder requirements, and maintaining effective communication with staff and clients. The Lead Case Manager will also engage in community relations, crisis intervention, and operational management of the office space, contributing to the overall mission of the organization to serve vulnerable populations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, or related field.
  • Knowledge of community resources and ability to connect families to community services.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (Reading, Writing, Speaking at a professional level).
  • Ability to utilize computer systems and software necessary for position functions.
  • Basic skills in Windows PC, web browsing, and Microsoft Outlook.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Skype, and OneDrive.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee the case management service delivery rendered by 2-4 Client Services Representatives.
  • Submit detailed and thorough documentation in compliance with funder and Catholic Charities requirements.
  • Maintain regular and timely communication with staff regarding client safety and progress.
  • Participate in ongoing supervision, team meetings, and case reviews.
  • Inform manager about trends, difficulties, and successes in working with the client population.
  • Manage community partner relations and represent Esperanza Center in community forums.
  • Provide crisis intervention services directly and direct clients to mental health services as needed.
  • Participate in internal trainings on cultural ability and service provision.
  • Update client database software with services provided according to established policies.
  • Manage and direct the work of others, including recruiting and onboarding new staff.
