About The Position
Ben Hardy & Company is hiring a Lead Carpenter to support high-end residential remodeling projects in San Francisco and surrounding areas. This role involves both structural and finish carpentry, working closely with a small, experienced team to execute detailed, design-focused renovations. Ben Hardy & Company is a residential general contractor serving San Francisco, Marin, and Alameda counties. We specialize in high-end renovation projects and collaborate with architects and designers to deliver detailed, well-executed work.
Requirements
- 3+ years of residential carpentry experience
- Experience with both rough and finish carpentry
- Ability to read and work from plans and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and job site organization
- Reliable transportation to job sites in San Francisco and nearby areas
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with Procore or similar project management tools is a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on carpentry work including framing, finish carpentry, and cabinet installation
- Interpret construction drawings and coordinate with project leads
- Maintain quality standards across all phases of construction
- Support coordination with subcontractors and other trades on-site
- Identify and resolve construction challenges in real time
- Follow all job site safety requirements and company procedures
