About The Position

We are searching for a reliable, experienced carpenter and handyman who wants to stop doing the same thing every day or who is sick of looking for work and managing a business. The successful candidate will execute on jobs anywhere from a few hours up to a full bathroom remodel to customers in our community. If you have 10 or more years of paid experience in general carpentry and handyperson work with a wide range of skills especially in the following areas, we want to hear from you: Bathroom upgrades/remodel, drywall repair/patching/caulking, flooring repair and installation, general carpentry, finish carpentry, tile installation, general home repairs and handyperson work, kitchen repair/remodel, minor plumbing and electrical, painting interior and exterior, deck repair, installations over tile and tile repair.

Requirements

• Proficient in miscellaneous around-the-house type repairs like carpentry, basic plumbing, drywall, painting, and basic electrical
• Outgoing with great people skills, both with customers and other technicians
• Past experience running a construction team or business is a significant plus but not required
• Candidates do not need to be licensed tradesmen, but those candidates are welcome to apply
• Must have a driver's license, a reliable vehicle, and standard tools
• Must be a legal resident of the US and speak fluent English

Responsibilities

• Execute various home maintenance and upgrade tasks for customers
• Perform bathroom upgrades and remodels
• Conduct drywall repair, patching, and caulking
• Install and repair flooring
• Carry out general and finish carpentry
• Install tiles and perform tile repairs
• Handle general home repairs and handyperson work
• Manage kitchen repairs and remodels
• Perform minor plumbing and electrical work
• Paint interiors and exteriors
• Repair decks and perform installations over tile
