We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Carpenter to join our team and play a key role in delivering high-quality projects throughout Missouri.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in heavy civil construction, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Proficiency in constructing formwork, falsework, and other structural frameworks.
Strong knowledge of construction materials, techniques, and safety protocols (OSHA compliance).
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
Experience operating heavy equipment and power tools related to carpentry.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Willingness to travel with possible overnights.

Responsibilities

Oversee and lead a crew of carpenters in the construction of formwork, falsework, and structural components for heavy civil projects.
Read and interpret blueprints, project specifications, and technical drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Construct, assemble, and dismantle formwork and shoring systems for concrete structures.
Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations, company policies, and project timelines.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to optimize workflow and efficiency.
Train and mentor junior carpenters and laborers to improve skill development and maintain high standards of workmanship.
Operate and maintain hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with project specifications.
