About The Position

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Lead Carpenters / Assistant Superintendents for projects located in or around Gahanna, OH. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $30-$35/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope: Oversee all on-site construction activities from mobilization through project completion Coordinate and manage subcontractors and self-perform crews (excavation, utilities, concrete, carpentry) Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget Maintain a safe and compliant job site at all times Read and interpret plans, specifications, and schedules Conduct daily site inspections and manage quality control Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and stakeholders Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates Requirements: 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction Strong background in retail, food service, multi-tenant, or light commercial projects preferred OSHA knowledge and commitment to job site safety Experience managing self-perform work is highly valued Proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, and field teams Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Company Details Tradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry. Requirements

5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
OSHA knowledge and commitment to job site safety
Proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, and field teams
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

Nice To Haves

Strong background in retail, food service, multi-tenant, or light commercial projects preferred
Experience managing self-perform work is highly valued
